“The aim in the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out to the higher variety of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.

“This really is due to lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there's no fully functional office focused on service the area on a regular basis. The assistance point created for intervention experiences a higher influx of possible beneficiaries, which makes it difficult for the Workplace to attend to all people who stop by a service point.

“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise extra means to empower the servicing of all shoppers sassa status and enhance entry to Social Assistance providers,” the agency said.
